Structured notes, follow-up reminders and PDF export for your contacts
Overview
The native Odoo Internal Notes tab on contacts is a plain text area — no structure, no categories, no history. The chatter mixes discussions with actionable notes.
Partner Notes Manager replaces that tab with a complete structured notes system: categories, importance flags, follow-up reminders, reusable templates, a Kanban board, statistics and one-click PDF export.

Features
Structured Notes
Each note has a title, content, date, author and category. Never lose important information in unstructured text again.
Custom Categories
Four built-in categories (Commercial, Technical, Financial, Administrative) with color coding. Managers can add their own.
Follow-up & Reminders
Set a follow-up date and assignee on any note. Overdue notes are highlighted in red. A daily email digest keeps your team on track.
Note Templates
Create reusable templates (title, content, category) and apply them in one click when writing a new note — saving time on recurring note types.
Kanban View
Visualise all notes on a Kanban board grouped by category. Cards display the contact, date, importance badge and follow-up status.
Pinned Notes
Pin any note to keep it at the top of a contact's notes list, regardless of date — perfect for permanent reference information.
Statistics
Built-in Graph and Pivot views break down notes by category, author and month — giving managers full visibility on team activity.
Granular Security
All internal users can create notes. Only the author or a Notes Manager can delete them. Full audit trail preserved.
PDF Export
Print all notes for a contact in a clean, branded PDF report with one click — from the Notes tab or the Print menu.
