The CAWL Payment Provider module integrates the Credit Agricole Worldline payment solution into your Odoo e-commerce. It provides a secure, PCI-DSS compliant connection adapted for businesses operating in France and across Europe.
This is the most complete CAWL integration available for Odoo, covering all 32 payment methods supported by CAWL, including cards, digital wallets, Buy Now Pay Later, real-time banking, prepaid, and gift cards.

Installation & Configuration
Setting up CAWL is simple, fast, and seamlessly integrated with Odoo.
Navigate to Invoicing > Configuration > Payment Providers, select CAWL, and enter your credentials:
Congratulations, you are ready to accept payments!
Checkout & Payment Pages
Once the customer selects a payment method and clicks Pay Now, they are securely redirected to the CAWL hosted checkout page to complete the payment.
Order Confirmation
After successful payment, the customer is automatically redirected back to Odoo and the order status is updated in real-time.
Transaction Management
All payments processed through CAWL are recorded in Payment Transactions. Open any transaction to view full details including status, provider reference, and payment method used. Issue refunds, capture authorized payments, or void authorizations directly from the Odoo backend.
Manual Capture
Enable Capture Manually on the provider to authorize payments first and capture later. The transaction stays in Authorized state until you capture or void it from the backend. Ideal for hotels, car rentals, and pre-orders.
Once the customer pays, the transaction is authorized (funds reserved). You can then capture or void it directly from the transaction view.
Void Authorization
Cancel an authorized payment before capture to release the reserved funds back to the customer. The transaction moves to Cancelled state.
Full & Partial Refunds
Issue full or partial refunds directly from Odoo. Each refund creates a child transaction linked to the original payment. Webhook notifications confirm the refund status automatically.
Tokenization (Save Card)
Customers can save their card during checkout for faster future payments. Tokens are stored securely by CAWL (PCI-DSS compliant) and can be reused for one-click payments or merchant-initiated recurring charges.
On the next purchase, the customer can select a saved card to pay instantly without re-entering card details.
Webhook Notifications
Real-time HMAC-SHA256 signed webhook notifications ensure your Odoo is always in sync with CAWL. All payment events are handled: captured, rejected, cancelled, refunded, pending_capture. Webhook key ID verification for enhanced security.
Payment Method Selection
Enable or disable individual payment methods from the provider configuration. All 32 methods have their own Odoo payment method records with correct country/currency restrictions and feature support flags.
