FLOA Pay (by BNP Paribas) is a leading Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) solution that enables merchants to offer flexible installment payments across Europe.

Let your customers split their purchases into 3x, 4x, or 10x installments, pay later with deferred payments, or pay via IBAN. You receive the funds upfront, while your customers pay at their own pace.

This module fully integrates FLOA Pay into Odoo with a redirect-based payment flow, automatic data normalization, and the official FLOA standalone widget to display available payment plans directly on your website.

CB Installments

• Pay in 3 installments (with or without fees)
• Pay in 4 installments (with or without fees)
• Pay in 10 installments (with or without fees) - France only

Deferred Payments

• Pay Later / Deferred 1-90 days (with or without fees)
• Pay Now (instant full payment)

IBAN Payments (France only)

• IBAN 3-84 monthly installments
• IBAN 12 / 18 / 24 monthly installments

Customer data collection

FLOA requires additional customer data (civility, birth date, birth department for France). The module adds these fields to:

• The My Account portal page (/my/account)
• The partner form in the backend (FLOA Pay tab)

Before payment, the module validates that all required fields are filled and displays clear error messages listing any missing data.

FLOA Standalone Widget

The official FLOA standalone widget is integrated and automatically displayed on:

• Product pages
• Shopping cart and checkout
• Sales order portal pages
• Invoice portal pages

The widget dynamically shows available payment plans based on the current amount, eligible product codes, and the customer's country. It automatically switches between test and production mode based on the provider state.

Setting up FLOA Pay installment payments is simple, fast, and perfectly integrated with Odoo.

1. Install the module via your Odoo back office.

   No external Python library required. The module uses FLOA's REST API directly.

2. Create your FLOA Pay merchant account

   Contact FLOA Pay to obtain your Client ID and Client Secret credentials.

3. Configure the provider in Odoo

   Go to Website > Configuration > Payment Providers, open the FLOA provider, enter your Client ID and Client Secret, and set the state to Test (sandbox) or Enabled (production).

4. Activate the payment methods you need

   In the Payment Methods tab, enable the installment plans relevant to your business and target countries.

Congratulations, you are ready to accept FLOA Pay installment payments!

BackEnd

The module ships with 35 pre-configured payment methods. Enable only the ones relevant to your business.

Each payment method includes a product code, description, minimum and maximum amount limits, and country restriction. All fields are visible in the payment method form under the FLOA Pay section.

FrontEnd

On the website, enabled payment methods are displayed based on the cart amount and customer country.
The FLOA standalone widget is also displayed showing available payment plans.

• If the amount does not fall within the configured min/max range, the payment method will not be displayed to the customer.
• Methods are automatically filtered by country, ensuring customers only see plans available in their region.

The FLOA widget is also displayed on product pages, showing available plans with simulated installment amounts.

When a customer selects a FLOA payment method, the module:

1. Validates required customer fields (civility, birth date, phone, birth department for France)
2. Validates the order amount against min/max limits
3. Normalizes customer data (phone to E.164, zip code to 5 digits, name splitting)
4. Creates a deal via the FLOA API and finalizes it
5. Redirects the customer to the FLOA hosted payment page

The customer completes the installment plan selection and card entry on FLOA's secure payment page, then is redirected back to Odoo.

Once the payment is validated on FLOA's side, the customer is automatically redirected to Odoo and the transaction status is updated via webhook notification. The order is confirmed seamlessly.

FLOA Pay payment transactions are available in the Odoo backend along with the payment method used. Every API call is logged for full traceability and easy debugging.

The module includes full translations for all FLOA-supported languages:
