Before configuring Odoo, API keys must be obtained. To do this, follow these steps:

  In the API section, click Settings

For testing, use the public and private keys from the Test tab:

Production API keys are available in the Production tab.

After installing the app, go to Website — Configuration — Payment Providers and open LiqPay:

Testing

To test the LiqPay payment provider, fill in the form as follows:

• Set the state to Test Mode
• On the Credentials tab, enter the test public and private API keys
• Enter the payment purpose

Then, on the Configuration tab, select the payment journal:

Follow the Enable Payment Methods link and activate LiqPay so that this payment method becomes available on the website:

If the payment provider status is Unpublished, the payment method is available only to system administrators.

Production Mode

To switch the LiqPay payment provider to production mode, follow these steps:

• Set the state to Enabled
• On the Credentials tab, enter the production public and private API keys
• Enter the payment purpose

Then, on the Configuration tab, select the payment journal (if it has not been set earlier):

Follow the Enable Payment Methods link and activate LiqPay (if it has not been set earlier) so that this payment method becomes available on the website:

Switch the payment provider status to Published to make LiqPay available to all users on the website:

After completing the configuration, the LiqPay payment method becomes available during checkout:

After clicking Pay now, the LiqPay payment page opens:

Select a payment method or enter the required details, and click Pay. As a result, the payment status is displayed:

After clicking Return to website, the Odoo order confirmation page opens with the payment status:

Payment Brands

For each payment provider, it is possible to display the available payment method types such as VISA, MasterCard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and others:

To configure this, go to Website - Configuration - Payment Methods, then select the payment provider and, on the Brands tab, add the required payment method types:

Before adding it, ensure that Developer Mode is enabled.

Countries

If needed, specify the list of countries where this payment method is available so that customers see up-to-date information:

The module supports partial or full refunds through the Odoo interface.

Refund functionality in Odoo is handled at the payment transaction level. Go to Website — Configuration — Payment Transactions:

The Payment Transactions menu is available only in developer mode.

Open the required transaction and follow the link in the Payment field:

Click Refund:

In the pop-up window, specify the partial or full refund amount and click Refund:

If a partial refund has been processed, the Refund window displays the refunded amount and the corresponding maximum refund allowed:

The list of refunds is available on the payment transaction page in the Child Transactions section or via the Refunds button at the top:

The refund processing time depends on the payment system, so check the current refund request status in your LiqPay account:
