Integration of Paytrail Payment Provider with Odoo

Paytrail is a payment provider that includes basically all online banks used in Finland, as well as several credit cards and possibly other payment methods as well.

This module provides functionality for portal customers to make payments with using Paytrail payment provider.

PCI Compliance Note:

  1. Odoo does not store actual card numbers or CVV codes
  2. Tokens are safe, as they can't be reversed into real card numbers
  3. All real card data is stored and managed by the acquirer

Odoo Configuration

Configure Paytrail credentials.

Customer Invoice Payment

Portal Customers can pay their invoices through Paytrail payment provider by clicking on the "Pay Now" button.

Click on "Pay" button.

The Customer will be redirected to Paytrail payment portal to fill Card Details.

The transaction will be processed on the odoo side.

On Odoo's side, successful transaction details can be viewed in Provider Reference (Transaction number). If the transaction is not successful then the Provider Reference (Transaction number) will not be visible.

You can also add items to your cart and make payments directly through the website.

Customer will be redirected to Paytrail payment page to select the payment option. Here we are selecting the VISA to complete the payemnt with VISA Card.

Transaction details for the successful payment.

Save Payment Method

Select "Save my payment details" while making payment using Paytrail Payment Provider and click on "Pay" button, a payment token will be generated after the transaction is successfully done on the Paytrail side.

Customer will redirect to Paytrail payment page to complete the payment.

Payment Using Tokenization

Select payment token and click on "Pay" button.

The transaction will be successfully processed on Odoo side.

Refund of Completed Payment

Go to customer payment form view to process the refund via clicking on "Refund" button.

On the wizard you can set partial or full refund amount.

Refund trasaction reference for the refunded customer payment.

On the successfull refund process, odoo will create one refund customer payment.
