PHASE 1 · ONE-TIME SETUP
Step 1 · Connect Your SADAD Account
Paste your SADAD Merchant ID, Secret Key and registered Website Domain, then pick Sandbox or Production. That is all the setup it takes.
Step 2 · Publish & Go Live
Set the provider to Published. SADAD now appears as a payment option on your storefront, customer portal and invoice pay pages.
PHASE 2 · CUSTOMER PAYS
Step 3 · Customer Picks SADAD at Checkout
Your customer reaches the standard Odoo payment screen and selects SADAD from the list of payment options.
Step 4 · Pay on SADAD's Secure Page
The customer is taken to SADAD's secure hosted page and chooses how to pay, by Card, SADAD, Apple Pay or Google Pay, with card authentication handled by SADAD.
Step 5 · Payment Success
SADAD confirms the payment and brings the customer straight back to your order or invoice page, where they see the success screen.
PHASE 3 · INSIDE ODOO
Step 6 · Transaction Marked Done in Odoo
The matching Odoo transaction flips to Done as soon as SADAD confirms the payment, no manual updates required.
Step 7 · Invoice Auto-Reconciled
The invoice or sale order is matched to the payment and marked paid automatically. Clean accounting, zero data entry.
Step 8 · Refund in One Click
Open the payment and click Refund. The customer is reimbursed by SADAD and your accounting picks up the refund automatically.

Yes. Fully compatible with Odoo Enterprise (On-premise and Odoo.SH) and Odoo Community. Not compatible with Odoo Online (SaaS) as it does not support third-party apps.
Do I get free support after purchase?
Yes, 60 days of free support from the date of purchase. Each Odoo version is sold separately.
Which payment methods can my customers use?
Your customers can pay with any method enabled on your SADAD account, Cards (Visa, Mastercard), SADAD, Apple Pay and Google Pay, all shown automatically on SADAD's secure page. There is nothing extra to configure in Odoo.
Which currency and country does it support?
SADAD is built for Qatar and charges in Qatari Riyal (QAR). It is the perfect fit for merchants selling to Qatari customers.
Does the customer leave my website to pay?
For a moment, yes. The customer is taken to SADAD's secure hosted page to complete the payment, then sent straight back to your order or invoice page. This keeps sensitive card details off your store and helps build buyer trust.
Do I need to be PCI compliant to use this?
No. Card details are entered on SADAD's secure page and never touch your Odoo server. SADAD handles the security and compliance for you.
Can I test before going live?
Absolutely. Switch the provider to Sandbox mode, enter your SADAD test key, and try payments end-to-end. Switch to Production with your live key whenever you're ready, no code changes needed.
How are refunds handled?
Open the payment in Odoo and click Refund to return the full amount. SADAD credits the customer and the refund is logged against the original payment in your accounting. The refund shows as pending until SADAD confirms it, then it settles on its own.
What if a customer closes the browser or an update is delayed?
You are covered two ways. A background sync quietly checks back with SADAD and settles any payment the customer did not return from, and every transaction gets a "Refresh from SADAD" button that pulls the latest status on demand.
