NEXGO N86 Payment Terminal for Odoo 19 POS
Direct payment terminal integration over TCP/IP
This module integrates the NEXGO N86 payment terminal with Odoo 19 Point of Sale. It allows Odoo POS to send card payment requests directly to the terminal over the local network and receive transaction responses back inside Odoo.
Communication is handled through the GPE ECR v13.14 protocol by Global Payments Czech Republic. The terminal and the Odoo server must be connected to the same local network.
Main Features
- Sale transactions â send card payment amounts from Odoo POS to the terminal.
- Reversal support â cancel the last approved transaction.
- Refund support â return funds to the cardholder through the standard POS refund flow.
- Handshake test â check if the payment terminal is available.
- Close Totals â perform end-of-day batch settlement from Odoo.
- Automatic Terminal ID â the Terminal ID is filled automatically after the first successful response.
- CRC16-CCITT validation â full protocol validation for transaction messages.
- Automatic confirmation messages â confirmation is sent after every terminal response.
Supported Operations
| Sale | Standard card payment from Odoo POS. |
| Reversal | Cancel the last approved transaction. |
| Refund | Process refunds through the standard POS refund workflow. |
| Handshake | Check terminal availability before processing transactions. |
| Close Totals | End-of-day batch settlement. |
Requirements
- Odoo 19 Community or Enterprise
- NEXGO N86 payment terminal
- Terminal configured for GPE ECR protocol
- Odoo server and terminal on the same local network
- Terminal listening on TCP port 2050
How It Works
- The cashier adds products in Odoo Point of Sale.
- The cashier selects the NEXGO payment method and sends the payment amount.
- The terminal displays the amount and waits for the customer card.
- The customer taps, inserts, or swipes the card.
- When the payment is approved, Odoo automatically validates the order.
- If the transaction is declined, Odoo shows an error and the order remains open.
Configuration
After installation, create a NEXGO terminal record from:
Point of Sale â Configuration â NEXGO Terminals
Configure the terminal IP address, port, timeout, ECR ID and ECR name. The Terminal ID can be left empty because it is populated automatically after the first successful transaction response.
Then enable Use NEXGO Terminal on the desired POS payment method and select the configured terminal.

Supported Cards and Currency
The module supports all card types accepted by the NEXGO N86 terminal, including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and others depending on the terminal and acquirer configuration.
The transaction currency follows the company currency configured in Odoo. For CZK, the ISO 4217 currency code is 203.
