Lebanon wallet payments - checkout, portal links, live merchant balances
Payment provider integration built for whish.money - the Whish Pay wallet gateway for Lebanon.

Payments
- Whish Pay REST API integration (redirect checkout on whish.money)
- Standard Odoo flows: eCommerce, portal sales orders, online invoices
- Whish Payment Link on sales orders - portal locked to Whish
- USD and LBP, Lebanon, multi-company ready
- Sandbox / production API selected from provider Test or Enabled state
- Payer phone stored on the transaction for reconciliation
Merchant operations
- Live USD / LBP balances on the provider form
- Backend systray summary with manual refresh
- Scheduled sync every 30 minutes (auto-enabled with an active provider)
- Inbox and toast alerts when balances change
- Credentials restricted to Settings administrators
- Balances visible to Accounting / Billing users only
Security
- HMAC-signed callback and redirect URLs
- Every payment verified via Whish collect/status before confirmation
- Credentials cleared on database neutralization (staging copies)
- No card data or wallet secrets stored in Odoo
Not included: tokenization, manual capture, or refunds through the Whish API.
Setup and payment flow
1. Payment provider
Configure Channel, Secret, and Website URL from Whish Business. Balances and credentials appear on the provider form.
2. Test Mode (sandbox)
Use Test Mode and Whish sandbox credentials while validating the integration.
3. Configuration and payment method
Publish the provider, set USD / Lebanon, and enable the branded Whish payment method.
4. Whish Payment Link
From a sales order, generate a link that opens the portal with Whish as the only payment option.
5. Customer pays on the portal and on Whish
The customer confirms the order, selects Whish, and completes payment on the official Whish page.
6. Balance in the Odoo menu - Accounting users
Users with Accounting / Billing access see Whish balances in the top bar. Open the menu for USD and LBP totals, jump to the provider, or tap Refresh balance anytime - no need to leave the screen you are on. A scheduled job syncs every 30 minutes; changes trigger notifications.
