PowerBi Cloud Connector with AI PowerBi Cloud Connector with AI
Build One Dataset, Not Ten Tables
Stop exporting a pile of Odoo tables. Click through linked tables, pick the fields you need, and we build one clean dataset. All inside Odoo.

Quick start & How to connect

Connect Odoo to Power BI Service
→ Enter Tenant ID, Client ID, Client Secret, and the Power BI User Email (admin/owner in the tenant).
→ Click Test Connection.
→ Expect a green message like: “Connection OK — Token acquired and API reachable.”

Create a Power BI Workspace from Odoo
→ Go to Workspaces → New.
→ Provide a Workspace Name and choose your Power BI Service connection.
→ Click Add Me to Workspace if prompted to add the service principal/admin as a member.
→ Odoo creates the workspace remotely; it will appear in Power BI Service.

Build a Dataset by Joining Existing Tables
→ Use the interactive builder to select tables/columns and draw relationships to join them instantly.
Typical example:
→ sale.order.line → sale.order → product.product → product.template (and others as needed)
Tips:
→ Pick base tables, check only needed columns, and link keys to define joins.
→ Use the Preview to validate rows/values.
→ Click Generate Dataset when satisfied.

Export (Push) the Dataset to Power BI
→ Open Export Data and choose your created dataset.
→ Select the Target Workspace (from step 2).
→ Choose the Fields to Send.
→ (Optional) Enable Scheduled Push and set an interval to keep Power BI current.
→ Click Run Now to push immediately.

Verify in Power BI Service
→ In Power BI Service, open the workspace you created.
→ You’ll see the new dataset; build reports and dashboards from it.
→ If you scheduled exports, the dataset will refresh on your chosen interval.

Troubleshooting
🔗 Connection fails
- Re-check Tenant ID, Client ID, Client Secret.
- Ensure the Azure app has Power BI API permissions and admin consent.
🏗️ Workspace not created
- Confirm the user/service principal can create workspaces in the tenant.
- Verify you clicked Add Me to Workspace if required.
📉 No data after push
- Re-verify Fields to Send and join relationships.
