Pennylane E-invoicing for Odoo

Official bridge for French e-invoicing & compliance

Connect Odoo with Pennylane, the French accounting and PA (approved platform) hub, while keeping Odoo for your daily operations: sales, purchases, and invoicing. This free, official application guides you through account creation and Pennylane Connect setup, then synchronizes customers, suppliers, customer invoices, and supplier bills—typically within one business day.

Positioning: Pennylane as your accounting / e-invoicing / e-reporting (RFE) compliance layer; Odoo as your operational ERP.

What you get

  • Dedicated Odoo app with a top-level menu and setup panel (Odoo URL and database name for Pennylane Connect).
  • Also available under Accounting → Configuration → Pennylane E-invoicing.
  • Sales sync — customers and customer invoices from Odoo to Pennylane.
  • Purchase sync — suppliers and supplier bills from Odoo to Pennylane.
  • E-invoicing workflows in Pennylane: electronic invoices (facture électronique), Factur-X, and e-reporting under the French RFE reform.

How it works

  1. Install the application from the Odoo Apps Store.
  2. Open Pennylane E-invoicing from the main app menu (or Accounting → Configuration → Pennylane E-invoicing).
  3. Create your Pennylane account (Essentiel plan or above) via the guided signup funnel.
  4. In Pennylane Connect, add the Odoo integration and paste your Odoo URL, database name, and API key.
  5. Configure sales and purchase retrieval in Connect; synchronization runs through Pennylane Connect within about one business day.

Requirements & external service

  • Odoo 17.0, 18.0, or 19.0 (Community or Enterprise).
  • Odoo Invoicing / Accounting app installed.
  • Active Pennylane subscription (Essentiel or above).
  • Authorization of Pennylane Connect to read and write invoice and partner data between Odoo and Pennylane.

This module displays your Odoo instance details locally. Invoice and partner synchronization is performed by Pennylane Connect after you complete setup and authorize the integration.

Data shared with Pennylane is described in Pennylane's privacy policy (pennylane.com/fr/legal/privacy). By authorizing Pennylane Connect, you consent to this data exchange.

Mise en place

  1. Installez l'application depuis l'Odoo Apps Store.
  2. Ouvrez Pennylane E-invoicing depuis le menu principal (ou Comptabilité → Configuration → Pennylane E-invoicing).
  3. Créez votre compte Pennylane (offre Essentiel ou supérieure).
  4. Dans Pennylane Connect, ajoutez l'intégration Odoo avec l'URL, le nom de base et la clé API Odoo.
  5. Configurez les onglets Ventes et Achats ; la sync passe par Connect.

Les données échangées avec Pennylane sont décrites dans la politique de confidentialité Pennylane (pennylane.com/fr/legal/privacy).
