Configuration
Enable Legal Name Generation:
- Step 1: Go to Settings > Employees.
- Step 2: Activate the option "Autogenerar Nombre Legal" (Auto-generate Legal Name).
- Result: When you create or edit an employee, the "Legal Name" field will be automatically calculated based on the First, Paternal, and Maternal names.
Operational Workflow
How to manage Family Information:
- Open an Employee record.
- Navigate to the **"Parientes" (Relatives)** tab.
- Click **"Add a line"**.
- Fill in the relative's details:
- Name: Full name of the relative.
- Relationship: Choose "Spouse", "Child", etc.
- Birthdate: Required for age calculation.
- Save the record. The system will automatically update the "Private Information" tab (e.g., number of children, spouse name).

- Pre-condition: Enable "Autor-generate Legal Name" in Settings.
- Edit an Employee. Type "juan" in First Name and "perez" in Last Name.
- Result:
- Fields auto-convert to "Juan" and "Perez".
- The "Legal Name" field auto-fills as "Juan Perez".
Scenario 3: Validation Rules
- Try to add a Relative with a Future Birthdate (e.g., year 2050).
- Result: The system must raise a Validation Error.
- Try to add a second Spouse to an employee who already has one.
- Result: The system must raise a Validation Error.
FAQ & Troubleshooting
Common Resolutions
Why is the Legal Name not updating?
Reason: The configuration might be disabled.
Fix: Go to Settings > Employees and enable "Auto-generate Legal Name".
Why can't I edit the Spouse fields?
Reason: These fields are synchronized.
Fix: Please edit the info in the "Relatives" tab, and the main fields will update automatically.
