Ingredient POS Product Bundle with BOM in Odoo
The Ingredient POS Product Bundle with BOM module is designed to streamline inventory management for composite products in your Point of Sale system. It allows businesses to define a Bill of Materials (BoM) for items like burgers, linking a main product to its specific ingredients. When the main product is sold through the POS interface, the system seamlessly tracks the transaction. It automatically deducts the precise quantities of each component from your stock moves. This ensures real-time inventory accuracy by displaying updated on-hand quantities for all component products immediately after a sale.

Odoo – Ingredient POS Product Bundle with BOM in Odoo Managing inventory for recipe-based or bundled products can be challenging, but the Ingredient POS Product Bundle with BOM simplifies this entire workflow. Users can easily configure any item by enabling "Is POS BoM Product?" directly from the product settings and defining its exact Unit of Measure. Through a dedicated menu, managers can structure recipes by selecting the BoM product, adding specific component products, and setting their required quantities. During regular operations, cashiers simply add the configured BoM product to the POS cart and proceed with the standard checkout flow. Behind the scenes, the system generates accurate stock moves for the individual components.
