How It Works
📝 Add Notes to PO Lines
Open any Purchase Order. On each order line, you will find a new Line Note field. Add internal comments such as preferred brand, packaging instructions, or supplier-specific handling notes.
👁️ Notes Visible to Purchasing Team
Line notes are internal only — they appear on the PO form and in the internal PDF but not on the supplier-facing version. The purchasing team sees the context without cluttering vendor communications.
📦 Notes Follow to Receipts
When goods are received, the related stock picking shows the line notes from the original PO — so warehouse staff know about any special requirements during goods receipt inspection.
🔍 Search Orders by Note Content
Use the search bar in the PO list to find orders with specific line notes. Quickly locate all orders referencing a particular product instruction or supplier requirement.
