Maysoft POS Cashier Control
Cashier access control, POS locking, blind closing and strict customer credit checks
Maysoft POS Cashier Control adds operational safeguards to Odoo POS for stores where each cashier must work on the right POS configuration, avoid backend access and close the register without seeing sensitive totals.
Cashier control
- Force a user to one POS configuration.
- Define allowed POS configurations per user.
- Redirect cashiers away from the backend when backend access is disabled.
- Lock a POS configuration to avoid concurrent cashier conflicts.
- Hide employees that should not appear on the POS screen.
Closing and credit
- Optional blind closing workflow.
- Mandatory closing assistant for blind closing.
- Cash denomination counting for cash in/out operations.
- Strict customer credit limit checks.
- Explicit manager override token for credit exceptions.
Recommended use
This module is recommended for multi-cashier shops, bakeries, retail stores and restaurants that need stricter POS procedures than the standard Odoo POS. It can be used alone, or with Maysoft POS Customer Documents and Maysoft POS Cashier UX.
