1. Access POS Configuration Settings
Navigate to Point of Sale â Configuration â Settings and select your POS configuration.
2. Set Default Payment Method
In the POS settings, locate the "Default Payment Method" field and select your preferred payment method from the dropdown.
3. Automatic Payment Selection
When you open the payment screen in POS, the default payment method is automatically selected and ready for use.
4. Complete Payment Faster
Simply enter the payment amount and complete the transaction without manually selecting the payment method each time.
Installation & Configuration
- Install the Module: Install through Odoo Apps or manually via module manager
- Access POS Settings: Go to Point of Sale â Configuration â Settings
- Select POS Configuration: Choose the POS configuration you want to modify
- Set Default Payment Method: Choose your preferred default payment method from the dropdown
- Save Configuration: Apply the changes and start using the POS
- Test in POS: Open POS session and navigate to payment screen to see auto-selection
Install the Module
After installation, navigate to Point of Sale â Configuration â Settings to configure the default payment method for your POS.

Validation Features
