POS Orders Carry Forward

Carry forward pending POS orders (draft / unpaid) to the next session when closing a POS session.

Carry forward pending orders

Move draft / unpaid orders forward when closing the POS session.

Session visibility

Smart buttons show pending and carried forward orders from the session form.

Order tracking

Tracks original session and whether an order was carried forward.

Standard closing flow

Keeps the upstream closing flow so cash/bank differences are saved as usual.

How to use

Enable

  1. Go to Point of Sale → Configuration → Point of Sale
  2. Enable Carry Forward Pending Orders
  3. Save

Close session with draft orders

  • Review Orders to go back and settle them
  • Cancel Orders to cancel drafts and close
  • Forward to Next Session to carry drafts forward
