Keep discounts, coupons & technical items off the cashier and salesperson product lists — in one click.
Overview
Promotion engines, coupons, tips, delivery and other technical products must exist for Odoo's automations to work — but your cashiers and salespeople should never add them to an order by hand. Hide Products in POS & Sales gives every product two independent switches so you can take it out of the product lists without archiving it and without breaking anything that still relies on it.
Use Case: A "Discount 10%" product is required by your pricelist rules, yet a cashier keeps adding it to tickets by mistake. Tick Hide In POS once — it vanishes from the POS grid while the discount logic keeps working perfectly.

How It Works
| Step 1: Open any product and go to the Point of Sale tab (or the options block on the product form). |
| Step 2: Tick Hide In POS and/or Hide In Sales and save. |
| Step 3: The product instantly disappears from the POS grid and/or the Sales order line product list. Use the "Hidden in POS" filter to review hidden products anytime. |
