When a customer places an order from a table via the self-order QR code (or a kiosk), it's easy for a busy barista to miss it — there's no physical ticket, no bell, nothing forcing attention. This module fixes that: a repeating chime and a persistent on-screen banner keep ringing in the Point of Sale until someone presses Got it.
Key features
- Audible alarm — a repeating two-tone chime, synthesised in the browser (no audio file to configure).
- On-screen banner — lists every unacknowledged table/self-order with its table number.
- One-tap acknowledgement — "Got it" records who confirmed the order and when, and silences the alarm on every connected POS device at once.
- Smart filtering — only triggers for genuine self-order / kiosk orders. A walk-in order a cashier manually assigns to a table stays silent.
- Multi-device sync — acknowledging on one register silences the alarm everywhere via the POS bus.
