Prerequisites: Odoo 19 Enterprise (v19.0+e-20251215 or later) with administrator access.
Install Dependencies
Ensure project, project_account_budget, analytic, and account modules are active in your Odoo instance.
Install the Module
Go to Settings → Apps, search for Project Budget Analytics, and click Install.
Set a Project Budget
Open any project → Settings tab → enter a value in the Allocated Budget field → Save. Budget Spent, Remaining, Utilisation %, and Status are computed automatically.
Grant Access Levels
Navigate to Settings → Users (Developer Mode) and assign the appropriate security group per the access table below.
4.2 Budget Status Thresholds
| Status | Threshold | Description |
|---|---|---|
| On Track | < 80% | Project is within comfortable budget limits |
| Warning | 80% – 95% | Budget consumption is approaching the limit |
| Critical | 95% – 100% | Budget nearly exhausted — immediate attention required |
| Over Budget | > 100% | Actual costs have exceeded the allocated budget |
4.3 Security & Access Levels
Users must be assigned the appropriate security level to access the dashboard. Configure via Settings in Developer Mode.
