The whole module is designed around one idea: an agent is only as trusted as its guardrails. Here are the three that matter.
Permissions

Plus review before it acts. Three autonomy levels, from suggest-only to fully autonomous. Risky steps — deletes, method calls — always pause for approval. An administrator grants exactly which models the agent may read or edit, down to specific fields, a row filter that limits it to a subset of records, and a whitelist of the methods it may call; whitelists hold even inside search filters, so a hidden field can’t be probed indirectly.

Does my data leave Odoo?
Only what a query needs is sent to the provider you chose, using your API key. There is no Pronexo server in the middle and we store nothing. Prefer to keep everything on-site? Run a local Ollama model and no data leaves your network at all.
How much will I spend on tokens?
You pay the provider directly for what you use — there’s no per-seat fee from us. The module is token-efficient by design: chats auto-compact, queries fetch only the fields they need, any conversation can switch to a cheaper model, and on Claude prompt caching re-reads the long part of a chat at roughly a tenth of the price. Set a USD spend quota per user with an optional monthly reset so costs never surprise you.
Can it break something?
It only ever acts within the requesting user’s real permissions, and system-critical models are hard-blocked from writes. Risky steps pause for review, and every action is logged with a before-image and undoable in one click — so a mistake is always reversible.
Do I need a separate server or gateway?
No. It runs inside your Odoo. Point it at any provider that supports function calling — no extra gateway for Claude or Gemini. Works on Odoo.sh and On-Premise.
Which Odoo versions, and what languages?
Odoo 19, on any Odoo model. UI and agent messages ship in English, Spanish and French out of the box.
