Kanban for portal collaborators
The problem
The default /my/tickets page is a flat list. No Kanban, no drag-and-drop, no priority change. Customers can't move tickets between stages, can't add tags, can't close their own tickets. Sharing access requires either an internal license (paid per seat) or a custom development. The chatter has no protection on closed tickets.
The solution
Portal Helpdesk Client ships a helpdesk.collaborator model and embeds the backend Kanban / List / Form views inside the portal. Portal collaborators move tickets like internal agents, with chatter locked on closed tickets and granular per-team ir.rule security. No internal seat consumed, no custom code to maintain.

Declare portal collaborators per Helpdesk team in one click from the team form. Read access on every ticket of the user's collaborator teams; write/move access automatically granted to declared collaborators.
Kanban / List / Form
Three view types embedded in the portal, switchable from the breadcrumb bar. Sortable columns, search bar, group-by, filters - the full backend toolkit.
Drag-and-drop
Move tickets between stages with the same fluidity as in the backend. Priority stars, tags, deadline date - all editable from the Kanban card.
Secured chatter
Composer is automatically disabled on closed tickets - no orphan messages on resolved cases. Patches the chatter, composer and message components for a consistent, audit-friendly behaviour.
Mark as done
A dedicated portal action lets collaborators close tickets without touching the backend. Confirmation modal included. Closure is logged in the chatter.
Per-team security
ir.rule records ensure each collaborator only sees the tickets of their assigned teams. Multi-customer support out of the box - perfect for MSPs serving several end clients.
