Purchase Receipt Splitter
Split Incoming Receipts by Warehouse & Scheduled Date (Odoo 19)
In multi-warehouse purchasing, a single PO can create messy receipts that mix destinations and planned dates. This module fixes that by letting you choose a Warehouse (and Destination Location) per PO line, then automatically creating separate incoming receipts on confirmation, grouped by: Picking Type + Scheduled Date + Destination Location.
What problem does it solve?
- One purchase order delivering to multiple warehouses ends up in a single receipt.
- Mixed scheduled dates in the same receipt makes planning and follow-up harder.
- Wrong destination location increases mistakes and audit risk.
With this module, each warehouse/date gets its own receipt automatically â clean operations, better traceability, less manual work.
Main Features
- Warehouse per PO line (new column on order lines).
- Destination Location per PO line with smart domain: only internal/transit locations under the selected warehouse.
- Onchange helpers: selecting a warehouse auto-fills its stock location, and selecting a location can auto-detect its warehouse.
- One-click âApply Default Warehouseâ on the PO (fills missing line values).
- Optional warning wizard if a line has neither Warehouse nor Destination Location (avoids surprises).
Automatic Splitting Logic
After confirming the Purchase Order, the module rebuilds incoming receipts (excluding done/canceled) and creates new ones grouped by:
- Picking Type (warehouse incoming type when available).
- Scheduled Date (from line planned date).
- Destination Location (line destination or warehouse stock location).
Result: separate pickings, clean move lines, easy receiving and reporting.
