You can give access to the user to archive or unarchive sales order.
There is an action to archive sale order
You can see sale order is archived
Filter to show archived sales order
Action for Unarchive sale order
Also you can archive or unarchive multiple sales orders in single action.
Unauthorize user cannot archive/unarchive sale order records(need to assign group to the user)
