Quick App Switcher

Give every backend user a personal set of application shortcuts in the Odoo navbar. Move between Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, or any accessible application without returning to the application dashboard.

Switch from the navbar

Open the compact switcher from any backend page and jump directly to another application.

Configured per user

Each user selects their own shortcuts from Preferences. Administrators can also configure user records.

Respects access rights

Only installed applications visible to the current user are returned and displayed.

How it works

1. Open Preferences
Use the user menu in the backend systray.
2. Select applications
Choose entries under Quick App Switcher.
3. Save and switch
Use compact application-name buttons directly in the navbar.
