The Quotation Revision module enhances Odoo ERP by enabling users to modify prices and product quantities directly within existing quotations, eliminating the need to create duplicate records. It maintains a complete revision history, clearly differentiates revised and confirmed quotations through naming, and provides visibility into how many times a quotation has been revised, ensuring better tracking and control.

Start by creating a standard sale order in Odoo ERP. The system assigns a versioned reference (e.g., RSO1_S00021) to track the initial version with its original products and pricing.

2. Send Sale Order
Click Send to share the sale order with the customer. A professional PDF is generated with the specific revision version, ensuring both parties refer to the same document.

3. Revise Sale Order
If changes are requested, click Make Revise Sale Order. This keeps the current version intact while preparing a new revised version without losing history.

4. New Revision Created
A new version (e.g., RSO2_S00021) is generated automatically. Update quantities or pricing as needed, and access previous versions via the Revisions smart button.

5. Track Revisions
Use the Sale Revisions tab to view a complete audit trail, including version details, dates, salesperson, and total amounts for easy comparison.

6. Confirm Final Version
Upon confirmation, a wizard allows you to either Cancel previous revisions for clean records or Keep them open if multiple options are still active.

7. Final Sale Order
The confirmed version becomes the official sale order (e.g., S00021), while earlier revisions are marked as cancelled,
ensuring a clear and traceable sales process.
