What is Direct Print By QZ Tray?
Direct Print By QZ Tray is an Odoo module that eliminates the extra step of downloading a PDF before printing. Normally in Odoo, when you want to print a report like a sales order, invoice, or delivery slip. it downloads a PDF to your computer and you have to manually open and print it.
This module removes that friction entirely. Once installed, your reports are sent directly from Odoo to your physical printer in one click, powered by QZ Tray a lightweight desktop application that acts as a secure bridge between your browser and your printer.

After Installing QZ Tray Click on The Icon -> Advance -> Site Manager To Create New Pair of Digital Certificate and Private Key.
Generate Digital Certificate and Private Key
Click on + icon in Site Manager to Generate New Certificate and Private Key and Follow Instruction to Paste it Into Qz Tray App Folder as Override.crt File.

After The Creation of Certificate and Key, They'll be Created Under A Folder with Text and Pem File
Install the Odoo Module
Upload and install the Direct Print By QZ Tray module from the Odoo Apps menu. No extra dependencies required it works on both Community and Enterprise editions right out of the box.
Register Your Device
Each user registers their machine by clicking "Register Current Device" from their Odoo preferences. The device is identified automatically, no manual input needed.
Configure Certificate & Private Key
In Odoo Under My Preferences, paste your QZ Tray certificate and private key. These are used to authenticate print requests securely.
Start Printing Directly!
Enable QZ Tray in your user preferences, select your printer, assign it to report types, and you're done. Every print action now goes straight to your printer.
Note: Module Also Works if a Device has Not Configured Certificate and Private Key
If A Device has Not Pasted Certificate and Key or In The Case that Values Are Invalid, Qz Tray Still Prints Your Report but A Series of Pop Up of Untrusted Wesbite Will be Shown

Fallback To Download PDF When QZ Tray Fails to Print
Whenever an Error Occurs in Printing Process, User will be given Choice to Download as PDF Instead.
