Unified Reservation and Booking Management: Our booking management system simplifies the entire guest journey. Staff can quickly create new Reservation records from a dedicated dashboard that automatically suggests default check-in and check-out dates. The system handles the initial booking management system with an automatic email sent to the partner upon confirmation, enhancing communication and service.
Dynamic Room Status Tracking: The system provides a clear, visual overview of all Rooms with real-time status updates. Immediately after a guest's check-out, the room status automatically flips to Under cleaning. Rooms requiring repair can be manually marked as Under Maintenance, ensuring they are never accidentally booked, thereby improving Hotel operations efficiency.
Automated Housekeeping Workflow: After Check-out, the system automatically generates a cleaning record in the Hotel Cleaning model, improving the efficiency of your room cleaning workflow. Management can easily create and assign tasks to a specific Cleaning team with assigned Heads and members. This integrated approach ensures quick room turnaround and readiness for the next guest.
Enforced Maintenance and Availability Rules: To prevent booking rooms that are unavailable, rooms marked Under Maintenance are strictly excluded from the reservation selection process. Similarly, if a room has an active cleaning record-as a manual one-it will not reappear as available for reservation until the assigned user marks the cleaning as finished but whether automatically created cleaning record after checkout , the room will be included to reservation selection process but dedicated user can’t check in the room until the cleaning is not finished.

Set Up

Download the app from the Odoo App Store.
Assign User Roles: For staff members who need administrative access to manage room records and overall settings, assign them to the Manager user group.
Define Cleaning Team Roles: For staff responsible for room cleaning, ensure they are added to the Cleaning User group. This simple assignment makes them available to be selected in the "Assigned To" field for cleaning tasks and in the Cleaning Team configuration.

Work Flow

Reservation Creation: Staff or customers create a booking via the reservation dashboard or website form by selecting dates, room type, and number of guests.
Confirmation & Check-in: After confirmation, an email is sent automatically. Upon guest arrival, staff perform Check-in by verifying ID details and the room status changes to Occupied.
Check-out & Cleaning: When guests Check-out, the room status switches to Under Cleaning, and a cleaning task is automatically created and assigned to the housekeeping team.
Housekeeping & Maintenance: After cleaning, the room status updates to Available. If maintenance is needed, it's marked Under Maintenance and hidden from new reservations until resolved.
Frontend Booking & User Access: Website users can check availability, book rooms, and view their own reservations in My Bookings. Admins can access all booking records.

How do I ensure only qualified staff can manage housekeeping tasks?

Staff members must be added to the Cleaning User group. Only users in this group will appear in the "Assigned To" field when creating or managing a room cleaning record, ensuring the correct staff scheduling.

Does the system manage guest identity documents?

Yes. During Check-in, the system allows for the tracking and management of different Document types such as Aadhar card or other forms of Identity proof, aiding in complete guest information management.

What happens to a room's status immediately after a guest checks out?
