Automated In-App Alerts When confirming a sales order with a margin below the threshold, an automated popup will appear. This alert notifies the user of the low margin and requires confirmation before the order can be finalized, preventing accidental low-profit sales.
Email Notifications Specify which users should receive email alerts when a sale order is confirmed with a low margin. This ensures that key personnel, such as managers, are always informed about potential margin issues.
Sales Margin Reporting Access a dedicated report under the Reporting menu that lists all products sold with a margin below the set threshold. This report can be generated for a specific date range, printed, or emailed, providing valuable insights for profitability analysis.

Set Up

Install the app from the Odoo Apps module.
Navigate to the Sales module and go to Configuration >> Settings.
Scroll down to the Low Margin Threshold section.
Set the desired Low Margin Threshold (%).
In the Send Notifications to Users field, specify the users who should receive email notifications for low-margin sales.

Work Flow

A user creates a new sales order and adds products with a low margin.

If the user confirms, the sale order is created, and designated users receive an email notification as part of the alert notification system.
Periodically, a manager can navigate to Reporting >> Sale Margin to generate a report of all low-margin sales and send a notification to relevant stakeholders.
