The problem this solves
One wrong click and a customer, an invoice, a sales order or a whole contact is gone - often with no easy way to know who did it or why. In a busy team, giving everyone the ability to delete records is risky, but locking Odoo down with complex access rules is painful. This app gives you a simple, targeted safety net exactly where you need it.

Controls who can delete
Only members of the "Deletion Manager" group may remove protected records. Everyone else is blocked with a clear message.
Asks for a reason
Before a protected record is deleted, managers type a short reason - so there is always a clear record of why.
Logs everything
Every deletion, archive and blocked attempt is recorded - who, what, when and why - in a tamper-resistant audit log.
