Sale Order Matrix - Stock Quantities
This module enhances the sale order product matrix (grid) by displaying free stock quantities for each product variant directly in the matrix cells.
Key benefit: Sales teams can see available stock at a
glance while filling in the order matrix, reducing over-selling and
back-orders.
Features
- Per-cell free quantity — Each matrix cell shows the available (free) stock for the corresponding product variant, colour-coded green (in stock) or red (out of stock).
- Row totals — Each row header displays the total free stock across all variants in that row.
- Column totals — Each column header displays the total free stock across all variants in that column.
- Live order quantity — As the user enters quantities, the row header updates to show the current order quantity for that row.
Dependencies
Requires sale_product_matrix and stock.
Usage
Once installed, open a sale order and click Configure a product for a product with a matrix. The matrix grid will automatically display free stock quantities in each cell.
