WHAT IT DOES
Duplicate the way your reps actually work
Standard Odoo copies a quotation exactly as it is, then leaves you deleting and re-editing lines in the copy. Selective Duplicate turns that around: one dialog where you pick the lines to keep and adjust them before anything is created.
Pick lines before copying A checklist of every section, sub-section, note and product line, all kept by default. Switch off what the next quote does not need. |
Edit every line in place Change product, description, quantity, unit of measure, unit price, discount and taxes right in the dialog. The new quote is built from what you set. |
Smart product autofill Swap a product on a line and its description, unit of measure, price and taxes fill in from the product automatically. |
Sections and notes preserved Kept structural lines stay in order and re-nest under their sections and sub-sections in the new quotation, exactly like the source. |
Select all / deselect all Start from everything and trim, or from nothing and add. A live counter shows how many lines are selected as you go. |
Correct totals every time The result is a proper draft quotation, so amounts, taxes and totals recompute cleanly for the new order. |

THE PART STANDARD DUPLICATE GETS WRONG
Decide first - don't clean up after
On a long, sectioned quotation, copying everything and pruning by hand is slow and error-prone. It is easy to leave a stray line or a whole section that does not belong. Selective Duplicate makes the choice up front, in one place.
STANDARD ODOO DUPLICATE Copy everything, then delete Clones the whole quotation with no choice. You open the copy, hunt down the lines that do not apply, and delete them one by one - hoping you did not miss any. |
SELECTIVE DUPLICATE Choose and edit, then create One dialog lists every line with a toggle and editable fields. Keep what you want, tweak quantities, prices and taxes, and the new quotation lands ready to send. |
HOW IT FLOWS
From an existing quote to a tailored one, in four steps
01 Open the action On any quotation or sale order, open the Action menu and choose Selective Duplicate. |
02 Pick the lines Toggle off sections, notes or products you do not want. Use Select all or Deselect all to start from either end. |
03 Edit on the spot Adjust products, quantities, prices, discounts and taxes for each kept line, directly in the dialog. |
04 Create the quote Click Create New Quotation. A fresh draft opens with only your chosen, edited lines - priced and totalled. |
