Installation & Target Setup

Install the Module
Go to Apps → Search "Sales Target Dashboard Pro" → Install. A new Sales Targets menu appears under the Sales app.
💡Auto DependenciesThe module requiressale_management,sale_margin,crm,account, andweb. These install automatically if not already present. -
Assign Security Groups
Go to Settings → Users & Companies → Users and edit each user. Under the Sales section assign:
- Sales User — view-only access to their own dashboard data
- Sales Manager — full CRUD on targets, all teams, module config

Create a Sales Target
Go to Sales → Sales Targets → New and fill in:

Activate the Target
Click Activate to make the target live. It immediately appears in the dashboard's Active Targets list and is included in all KPI calculations.

Open the Dashboard
Go to Sales → Sales Targets → Dashboard. KPI cards and charts load instantly for the current month with your new target included.
How to Use the Dashboard
Period Filtering
- Click This Month, Last Month, This Quarter, or This Year for instant preset filtering
- Use the Custom Date Range fields to pick any start and end date
- All charts and KPI cards update instantly — no page reload
Slicing by Team / Category / Salesperson
- Use the Sales Team, Category, and Salesperson dropdowns in the filter bar
- All three filters are combinable — apply any combination simultaneously
Comparison Mode
Enable the Comparison Mode toggle on the filter bar. The dashboard adds a second column to each KPI card showing the previous period value alongside green (▲) or red (▼) delta indicators.
Drill-Down into Orders
Click any KPI card (e.g., the Achieved card) or any bar in the bar chart. Odoo opens a filtered Sale Orders list showing exactly the orders behind that number. From there, open individual orders as usual.
Exporting Reports
Click Export to Excel or Print PDF in the dashboard toolbar:
- Excel — multi-sheet workbook: KPI summary + monthly breakdown + order details
- PDF — A4 formatted report matching the current filter state

💼 Manager
- Create, edit, and delete sales targets for teams, categories, and salespersons
- View the full dashboard across all teams and users
- Access all period filters and comparison mode

👤 Sales User
- View the dashboard automatically filtered to their own performance
