Which Odoo versions are supported?
Odoo 19.0 Community and Enterprise on self-hosted servers or Odoo.sh. Odoo Online does not allow installing third-party Python modules.
Does it need any external API?
No API or key is required. The module depends only on standard mail, account, contacts and portal. WhatsApp and SMS guest messaging is optional and uses your own Twilio account; leave it off and messaging simply logs to the chatter.
How does billing work?
Confirmed reservations auto-create a folio; from it you generate a standard Odoo invoice in one click.
Is this a back-office / front-desk system?
Both. Reservations, check-in/out, guest ID records and folio PDFs are managed by your staff inside the Odoo backend, and a guest-facing website booking engine plus portal is included so travellers can search availability, book online, complete online check-in and download their folio themselves.
Can guests book online from my own website?
Yes. The module ships a public booking engine: guests pick a property and dates, see live room availability with rate-plan pricing, and confirm the booking online. Direct website bookings carry no OTA commission, and the reservation lands in the same pipeline your front desk already uses.
Does it support multiple companies and currencies?
Yes. Properties, rooms, reservations, folios and guests are all company-aware and carry their own currency, so a hotel group can run separate legal entities and price in local currency from one database.
Can it manage more than one hotel?
Yes. Multi-property is built in. Add as many properties as you need, including hotels, resorts, motels, hostels, boutique hotels, villas and service apartments. Record rules then keep each company's reservations, rooms, folios and guests separate.
Does it prevent double-booking?
Yes. Every confirmation re-checks the room against overlapping confirmed and checked-in stays in a single query, so a room already sold for those dates cannot be confirmed twice.
Does it track occupancy, ADR and RevPAR?
Yes. Occupancy rate, ADR and RevPAR are computed month-to-date with year-on-year comparison, alongside booking pace, lead time, booking source and repeat-guest rate, and export to Excel.
Can it handle group and travel agent bookings?
Yes. Mark a reservation as a group booking with a group discount, assign a corporate account responsible for payment, and record travel agent commission as a percentage of total or a fixed amount.
Does it include a channel manager or OTA sync?
Not in the module. Booking source (walk-in, phone, website, OTA, agent, corporate) is tracked and reported, but live channel-manager and OTA connectivity is available as a separate SDLC Corp service.
