How Product Food Labeling Works

Product Food Labeling module allows you to define complete food-related information on product variants, including nutrition facts, ingredients, and allergen warnings, which can later be printed as food labels or PDF reports.

1. Product Variant – Nutrition & Allergen Tab

A new Nutrition and Allergen tab is added on the Product Variant form. From here, users can manage all food labeling related information in a structured way.

2. Enable Nutritional Details & Ingredients

Users can enable or disable Nutritional Details and Ingredients using simple checkboxes. This keeps the interface clean and flexible for different product types.

3. Nutritional Information per 100g

Define detailed nutrition values such as Energy, Protein, Carbohydrates, Sugar, Fat, Cholesterol, and Sodium. Values can be maintained per 100g or any standard unit.

4. Ingredient Information

Maintain a clean and legally compliant ingredient list for food products. Ingredients appear in proper sequence and formatting, ideal for food labels.

5. Allergen Information & Warnings

Clearly define allergen information such as Contains Milk, Soy or May contain traces of Nuts, Wheat. This ensures customer safety and regulatory compliance.

6. Food Label PDF Report

The module supports printable Food Label PDF reports which include Nutrition Facts, Ingredients, and Allergen details. (You can upload the PDF report screenshot here later.)
