Overview
The Shopify Odoo Connector helps businesses seamlessly integrate e-commerce operations with back-end ERP logistics. Manage products, customers, orders, invoices, and inventory synchronization accurately within a centralized platform.
This module supports multi-store structural configurations and features real-time automated synchronization tools to scale operational performance.
- Install the module into your Odoo instance.
- Navigate to Shopify Connector and create a new instance.
- Enter API credentials from Shopify.
- Configure synchronization preferences.
- Start importing products and orders.
Step 1 - Install Module
Install the Shopify Connector module from the Odoo Apps menu.
Step 2 - Create Shopify Instance
Navigate to Shopify Connector and create a new store instance.
Step 3 - Configure API Credentials
Fill in the required details under Company and Language.
Then enter your Shopify credentials:
Shop URL – Your Shopify store URL
Example: https://your-store.myshopify.com
Client ID – The API Key generated from your Shopify app
Client Secret – The API Secret Key generated from your Shopify app
After entering all the details, click the Refresh Token button to generate and fetch
the
access token.
Once the token is generated successfully, click the Connection button to connect to
your
Shopify store.
If the provided credentials are valid, the connection will be established successfully.
Step 4 - Verify Connection & Open Logs
Verify the successful connection by checking the green notification messages
"Token saved successfully!" and
"Shopify connection successful!" displayed at the top-right corner of the screen.
After confirmation, click the Logs button highlighted in the red box at the top-center
of
the page to open the Log Portal.
Step 5 - Add New Product
Go to the Products menu and select Products from the dropdown. Click the New button on the top-left of the product list. Enter product name, price, internal reference (SKU), description, and upload product images. Then save the product to continue.
Step 6 - Configure & Export Product
Open the Product Configuration tab, set Product Selection Way to Manual or Domain-based selection, then either choose products manually under Associated Products or apply a domain filter to export products automatically. Click Export Products to start the sync. Finally, verify the export status in the Logs section.
Step 6 - Sync Customers from Shopify to Odoo
When a new customer is created in Shopify, it is automatically synced and added to Odoo. Verify the record in the Customers menu in Odoo to confirm successful synchronization.
Step 8 - Sync Orders from Shopify to Odoo
When a new order is placed in Shopify, it is automatically imported and created in Odoo. Check the Sales Orders menu in Odoo to verify that the order has been synced successfully.
