Set Up & Configurations
Download and install the Alankit Odoo Connector: Customer GST Info module from the Odoo App Store.
Navigate to the new Alankit Configuration app on your dashboard.
Go to "Alankit Instance" and create a new record.
Input the secure credentials provided by your Alankit portal account:
GST Bill URL
Username & Password
Subscription Key
GST Public Key
Click the "GST Authentication" button.
Ensure the instance status changes to "Verified."
Work Flow
Go to the Contacts menu in Odoo and click to create a new contact.
Enter Basic Info: Type in the customer, vendor, or company name (if the exact legal name is unknown, a
temporary placeholder like 'Test' or 'ABC' works).
Enter the customer's GSTIN number in the designated field.
Click the Get GSTIN Info button.
The system connects to Alankit and, within seconds, populates the contact record with verified details,
including the official Name, Address, and Registration Status.
Note: Alankit credentials must be configured by you, either after completing the setup or by purchasing them.
