The Budget Upload Using Excel module for Odoo 19 simplifies the process of creating and managing budgets by allowing users to upload budget data directly from an Excel file instead of entering records manually. This module enables finance and accounting teams to quickly import planned amounts for multiple budget lines, periods, and analytic accounts in a single operation, significantly reducing data entry time and the risk of human error. Set Up & Configuration
Install the Budget Upload Using Excel app from the Odoo App Store.
For access of importing budget,
Settings >> Users >> Uploading Budget.
Work Flow
For importing budget, Accounting >> Configration , and then click on menu Import Analytic Account.
You need to choose the excel file of analytic account and click on the Import button. You can download the sample file form the wizard just click the SAMPLE FILE button inside the wizard.
If customer and plan both record is same available in system,then import analytic account otherwise raise the error.
Fill the necessary information in budget Form view like period, budget name, etc. Then click on Import Budget button.
You need to choose the excel file of budget and click on the Import Budget button. You can download the sample file form the wizard just click the SAMPLE FILE button inside the wizard.
Inside the Budget Lines tab, you can see the imported budget lines.These lines are imported from the Excel sheet.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
This app works only with Odoo Enterprise (On-premise and Odoo.SH). It does not work with Odoo Online (Cloud) because third-party apps cannot be installed there.
