Notification Bell System
This module introduces an intuitive notification bell system designed
to streamline internal
communication across Odoo. It provides users with a centralized and real-time notification hub,
ensuring
that important updates, approvals, alerts, and system events are
never missed. The bell icon delivers
instant visibility of pending actions and recent activities, helping teams stay aligned and
responsive.
With an elegant interface and seamless integration across multiple Odoo models, the module enhances
productivity by enabling users to view, track, and manage notifications directly within their workflow.
It supports customizable triggers, multi-user notification distribution, and smart categorization
to
ensure all critical messages are delivered precisely when needed.

Set Up & Configurations
Download and install the Notification Bell System module from the Odoo App Store.
Inside the company settings, you will find a 'Notification Configuration' tab.
This tab contains two configuration options:
Notification After Days: Enter the number of days after which notifications should be
deleted.
Notification Delete Scope: Choose the scope of deletion.
To give access to a particular user as a Notification User or Notification Manager.
go to,
Settings > Users & Companies > Users
and select the user.
Next, assign the correct access rights as per the user's role.
Work Flow
To generate a notification, navigate to the
Notifications > Generate Notification menu.
You can see that a form view is open with various fields.
In the Title field, you need to enter the notification's title.
In the To Users field, select the users you want to send the notification to. You can also select
multiple users.
In the Type field, you can specify the notification type, such as Information, Warning, Success,
or
Danger.The notification will be displayed accordingly based on the selected type.
In the Message field, enter the message you want to display in the notification.
In the Odoo notification popup, users can mute or unmute sound, mark all notifications as read with a single click, and clear all previously read notifications for a cleaner, more organized view.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
You can easily mute or unmute notification sounds directly from the popup using the sound toggle option.
Yes. Simply click the "Mark All as Read" button in the popup to mark every pending notification as read at once.
Use the "Clear All Read Notifications" button to instantly remove all previously read notifications from the list.
