Set Up & Configurations
Download and install the Odoo Print Reports in Greyscale module from the Odoo App Store.
Go to
Settings > Technical,
scroll down to the Reports section, and click on it.
Scroll down to find reports in the Reports section and select it.
In the Reports section, go to "Advanced Properties" and enable "Print Report In Grayscale".
Work Flow
Navigate to the desired report you wish to download where you have marked Print Report in Grayscale True. Once selected, go to the "Print" section and choose the appropriate option.
The report is generated in greyscale PDF format. Download or print the file - it's optimized for black & white printers.
Before installing the "Odoo Print Reports in Greyscale" app, you need to install ghostscript. To
install
ghostscript on Ubuntu, simply execute the following command in the terminal.
sudo apt install ghostscript

All Odoo reports generated through the standard print actions (such as invoices, purchase orders, sales orders, and delivery slips) are printed in grayscale once this module is installed and enabled.
No. The module does not modify the original report templates. It only converts the output to grayscale at the time of printing, ensuring the original designs and colors remain unchanged in the system.
