Set Up
Install: Download and install the module in your Odoo environment from the App Store.
Navigate: Go to Inventory >> Configuration >> Delivery Methods.
Create: Set up a new delivery method and select Shippo as the provider.
Configure: Enter your Shippo API Odoo credentials to link your accounts.
Define: Set up your product shipping weights and standard package types.
Work Flow
When the "Ship Through Shippo" field is enabled on the product form, a new tab labeled "Shippo Logistics" will appear. Within this tab, the user can select a Package Type from the list of options that have already been imported.
Create the Sale Order...
Fetch Shipping Rates: Click "Get Shipping Rates" to view real-time carrier options and pricing.
Select Carrier: Choose the preferred shipping method; the delivery cost is automatically added to the
order.
Confirm & Process Delivery: Confirm the order. The Shippo (GoShippo) delivery method is applied to
the
delivery order.
Validate Delivery: Click "Validate" to process the shipment. Status updates to Done.
Generate Shipping Label: Click "Generate Label" to create and automatically attach the shipping label to the delivery order.
International Shipping (If Applicable)
Selecting an international customer enables "Is International Shipment"
Enable "Ship Through Shippo"
Configure details like certification, signature, contents type, and incoterms
Generate international shipping labels similarly
Refund Processing:
Use the "Refund Shippo" button from the delivery order to initiate refunds.
The Shippo Refund ID is recorded in the chatter for tracking.
