The standard Odoo app menu is a flat list. Smart Hub replaces it with a clean, full-screen launcher that groups your apps by category, centers them dynamically on any screen size, and opens instantly from the menu icon.
Apps are sorted alphabetically within each category — no more hunting through a disorganized grid. Each category is labelled intuitively, so that teams can more easily find what matters to them.
Works seamlessly on both Community and Enterprise editions, Odoo 18 and 19.
Smart Search
Find anything — apps, menus, records — in one keystroke
The search box opens automatically when the Hub loads. Type any app name to navigate directly to it — no mouse required.
Use keyword prefixes to search across any Odoo model.
Type p:laptop to search Products, c:smith for Contacts,
or inv:2024 for Invoices. Results appear as a live data grid
with formatted fields.
Admins define which prefixes map to which models — fully configurable for any business.
Deep-Data Search Results
Instant record lookup without leaving the home screen
Search results render as a live column grid directly in the Hub. Field labels become column headers, and results update as you type.
Display fields support rich formatting: dates with strftime patterns, numbers and monetary values with custom thousands and decimal separators, and optional prefix/suffix strings.
Click any row to navigate directly to that record in the correct app.
My Tools — Your Personal Sidebar
Pin deep-links to your most-used pages
My Tools is a personal sidebar where each user can pin shortcuts to any Odoo page — a specific sales order, a filtered report, a kanban view. These are deep-links, not just app icons.
The sidebar is accessible via hover from the navbar on every page in Odoo, not just the Hub. Your tools are always one movement away.
Right-click any tool to rename, reorder, or remove it. No configuration screens needed.
App Manager & Categories
Organize the hub for your team
Administrators can create and manage app categories to group related apps together. Assign any installed app to any category, or leave it in the default group.
The App Manager shows all installed apps in a searchable list, with category assignment and visibility controls. Changes take effect immediately for all users.
Category colours and ordering are fully customisable.
Configurable Smart Search
Admins define what every keyword searches
Each Smart Search Configuration maps a keyword prefix to an Odoo model, a set of search fields, display fields with format patterns, and an optional app context for navigation.
Ships with default configurations for Products, Contacts, and Invoices — then add your own for any model in the database.
No Python required. Configured entirely through the Odoo UI.
