WEBSITE PRODUCT STOCK
Display real-time product availability — effortlessly.
In many eCommerce setups, customers place orders without knowing the actual stock availability.
This often leads to overselling, order cancellations and poor customer experience.
By default, Odoo does not clearly communicate accurate stock levels or enforce stock-based restrictions on the website.

The Website Product Stock module solves these challenges by providing real-time stock visibility directly on the website.

Configuration
To view available quantities of products in ecommerce screen, enable "Display available quantities of the products in website" checkbox which will be available in Website > Configuration > Settings
Show Stock quantities
Once user has enabled the checkbox in the website settings screen, the product's available quantities will display in ecommerce screen, like below:
Note: Clicking the "Shop" button will exclusively reveal storable products, Consumable and service items will not be accessible for viewing.
It also displays stock quantities in individual products screen for respective variant.
If the product has no quantity, then the quantity details will not display for that particular product.
Display Product Availability
By displaying product's availability for individual items, customers can quickly understand the status of the products, they are interested in, like in-stock or out of stock.
Display alert message for exceeding stock
When stock levels exceeds the preferred quantities of customers, "Add to Cart" button will be hided and also it will prompt the alert message on the product page.
It will prompt alert message in "Add to Cart" popup, When customer's quantities goes beyond the stocks and "Proceed to Checkout" button will get disappear.
Product Quantity warning and hide process checkout and proceed to checkout when add more than available quantity in shop cart.
If a user attempts to order quantities that surpass the available stock for any of the selected product, our system immediately detects this discrepancy and intervenes to prevent the order from proceeding.
Hide "Add to cart"
If the product is out of stock, the "Add to Cart" button will be disabled and an "Out of Stock" label will be displayed.
It is applicable for each individual variants also.
