CRM Custom Lost Reason
Capture Why a Deal Was Really Lost
Adds an Others lost reason to the CRM lost popup with a required custom text field, then stores and shows that reason on the lead form for future review.
Others Lost Reason
A dedicated Others reason in the lost popup that asks for a written explanation.
Custom Reason Field
Type the exact reason the deal was lost, kept with the lead record.
Visible on the Lead
The custom reason is displayed on the lead form next to the standard lost reason.
Simple to Use
Install the module and start right away.Install
Install the module on any CRM database.
Mark Lost
Open a lead or opportunity and click the Lost button.
Pick Others
Select the Others reason and type the real lost detail.
Review
See the standard lost reason and custom reason on the lead form.
Real CRM Lost Reason Flow
Select Others and Enter the Exact Lost Reason
When the user clicks Lost on a CRM opportunity, the popup shows the standard lost reasons plus the Others option. After Others is selected, the custom reason field appears and lets the user type the specific explanation before marking the opportunity as lost.
Custom Reason Saved on the Opportunity
After Mark as Lost is confirmed, the opportunity keeps Lost Reason as Others and displays the Custom Lost Reason directly on the form. Sales teams can reopen the lost opportunity later and immediately understand the real reason behind the lost deal.
