Mobile Barcode Scanner for MRP
Scan Raw Materials Directly Into Manufacturing Orders
QR Pairing Session
Open a scan session from a Manufacturing Order and show a QR code or mobile URL for the operator's phone.
Smart Barcode Matching
Scan product barcode, internal reference, lot number, or serial number and validate it against the MO component list.
Apply To Raw Moves
Valid scans are applied to raw material stock move lines, including lot or serial information when available.
Built For Shop Floor Scanning
SM Mobile Barcode Scanner helps warehouse and production teams scan materials without dedicated scanner hardware. A desktop user opens the scanner from the MO, a mobile user scans the QR code, then every scan is validated and synced back to Odoo.
QR Session, Camera Scan, Validation, Apply
Designed for Manufacturing Orders, raw material components, lots, serials, and mobile shop floor usage.Mobile Camera Scanner
Open the scanner page on a phone, allow camera access, switch camera when needed, and scan barcodes directly from the browser.
Manual Fallback Input
When camera scan is not possible, operators can type barcode, internal reference, lot, or serial number manually.
Live Desktop Polling
The desktop scanner screen refreshes scanned lines, valid counts, invalid messages, and remove buttons while the phone scans.
Component Validation
Only products included in the Manufacturing Order raw material lines can be accepted as valid scans.
Serial Duplicate Guard
Serial-tracked lots are protected from duplicate scans inside the same active scanner session.
Auto Session Expiry
Active sessions expire automatically and each successful scan extends the active session time for safer public mobile access.
From MO To Applied Scans
Simple operator flow for production teams.1. Open Manufacturing Order. Create or open an MO with component lines.
2. Click Scan Raw Materials. Odoo creates an active scanner session and displays a QR code with a mobile URL.
3. Scan QR on phone. The mobile scanner page opens without requiring the shop floor user to log in.
4. Scan materials. Scan barcode, internal reference, lot, or serial. Invalid scans show clear messages.
5. Complete session. Apply valid scans back to raw material move lines and continue the manufacturing process.
Real Mobile Scanner Flow
Desktop QR pairing, phone camera scanning, barcode validation, and final apply action.
Manufacturing Order component detail with raw material, demand quantity, and lot/serial number. This is the material data used by the scanner validation.
Desktop scanner session shows QR code, mobile URL, session code, Manufacturing Order number, live scanned item list, valid count, and Complete & Apply action.
Phone scanner page opens from the QR code. Operator can scan barcode with camera, type barcode manually, stop camera, or switch camera.
Invalid barcode is rejected with a clear message and shown in the scanned items list, so operators know exactly why the material cannot be applied.
