Auto Refresh and Reload
Automatically reload Odoo list, kanban, and form views at a configurable interval
Module Video Overview
Features
1 Configurable action intervalAdd an auto refresh interval directly on any window action. Use milliseconds such as 5000 for every 5 seconds or 30000 for every 30 seconds. |
2 Reloads data without refreshing the browserThe active view model reloads in place, so dashboards, operational lists, kanban boards, and forms can show fresh data without interrupting the whole web client. |
3 List, kanban, and form supportWorks on the most common backend views used for monitoring sales orders, inventory moves, helpdesk tickets, manufacturing orders, activities, and custom records. |
4 Safe while users are editingAuto refresh is skipped while a user has unsaved changes, helping prevent accidental loss of work during inline edits or form updates. |
How to Use
|
Step 1: Install the module and enable developer mode. Step 2: Open the menu that you want to refresh automatically, then click Edit Action from the debug menu. Step 3: Fill Auto Reload Interval (ms), for example 5000. Step 4: Save the action and reopen the menu. The view will refresh automatically at the configured interval. |
