No. Because this module uses an advanced Python library (pdfplumber) to extract text for free, it is only compatible with Odoo.sh, Docker, or On-Premise environments.
Does it work with scanned handwritten images?
No. This tool requires digital PDFs (PDFs generated by software like Word, Excel, or ERP systems) where the text layer can be read programmatically.
Will I ever have to pay for credits or tokens?
Never. By processing the text layers locally on your server, you bypass AI cloud fees and Odoo IAP credits completely.
