Quick Setup (5 Minutes)
- Create a free Meta App at developers.facebook.com
- Add the Messenger and/or Instagram products to your Meta App
- Generate a Page Access Token with
pages_messagingpermission - In Odoo, go to Social Messenger â Configuration â Social Accounts and enter your credentials
- Copy the Webhook URL from Odoo and paste it into Meta Developer Console â Webhooks
- Subscribe to messages and messaging_postbacks events
- Click Test Connection â you are ready!
Requirements
Odoo version: 19.0 (Community & Enterprise)
Meta Developer App: Free at developers.facebook.com
Facebook Page: Connected to your Meta App
Instagram: Business or Creator account linked to your FB Page
HTTPS: Your Odoo instance must be publicly accessible with HTTPS
(Odoo Online / Odoo.sh fulfil this by default)
External Python libraries: None â uses only Odoo standard libraries
