Standard Odoo has no built-in partner account statement. This module adds a clean wizard on any partner — print PDF, export XLSX, send by email, or let the customer view it on the portal. Filter by date range, currency, and payment status.

1 Statement Wizard — Filter & Generate

Open the wizard from any partner — Customers or Vendors menu. Select statement type (Customer / Vendor), date range, currencies, and toggle options. Print PDF, Export XLSX, or Send Email from the same screen.

2 PDF Statement — Invoices, Payments & Aging

PDF shows partner details, statement period, all posted invoices and credit notes with due dates and payment status, followed by aging summary buckets (Current / 0–30 / 30–60 / 60–90 / 90+) and credit limit section.

3 XLSX Export — Overdue Highlighted in Red

Excel export includes Document, Type, Invoice Date, Due Date, Payment Status, Total, Residual, and Currency columns. Overdue unpaid rows are highlighted red. Opening balance rows are highlighted blue. Aging summary table appended at the bottom.

4 Partner Form — Credit Limit & Portal Toggle

New fields on the partner form: Credit Used, Credit Available, Over Credit Limit warning. Two toggles — "Show Statement in Portal" (enables customer self-service) and "Auto Send Statement" (opts partner into scheduled cron). Set per-partner frequency: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.

5 Customer Portal — Self-Service Statement

When "Show Statement in Portal" is enabled, the partner sees an "Account Statement" tile on their portal home. They can filter by date range and currency, view live statement data, and download PDF or XLSX without contacting your team.

How It Works

Open Partner

Go to any customer or vendor record. Click the "Account Statement" smart button or use the Accounting menu.

Set Filters

Choose date range, statement type, currencies, and whether to include fully paid lines or opening balance.

Print / Export / Email

Click Print PDF, Export XLSX, or Send Email. All three use the same data — no duplicate configuration.

Enable Portal

Toggle "Show Statement in Portal" on the partner form. Portal user instantly sees their statement tile and can self-serve.

Automate Delivery

Enable the built-in cron + toggle "Auto Send" on each partner. Statements go out monthly — zero manual effort.

Install Module

Go to Apps → search Account Statement → click Install.

Dependencies (account, portal, mail) install automatically.

Open Any Partner

Go to Accounting → Customers or Vendors → open a partner → click Account Statement.

Set your filters and click Print PDF, Export XLSX, or Send Email.

Enable Portal (Optional)

On the partner form, enable Show Statement in Portal. Portal user immediately sees their statement tile. Enable cron + set frequency per partner (Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Yearly).
