⚙ How It Works

• Install the Restrict Product Creation In Manufacturing module.
• Navigate to Settings → Users.
• Enable the Restrict Product Creation In Manufacturing access right for the desired users.
• Login with a user who has this restriction enabled.
• Open Manufacturing → Operations → Manufacturing Orders, Unbuild Orders, or Scrap.
• The product dropdown will hide Create and Create & Edit options for restricted users.

📷 Enable Restriction for User

Navigate to Settings → Users & Companies → Users and enable the Restrict Product Creation In Manufacturing access right for the user.

When the restricted user creates a Manufacturing Order, the product dropdown will not display the Create or Create & Edit options.

The same restriction applies in the Unbuild Order. Users can only select existing products.

In the Scrap operation, restricted users cannot create new products.

If the restriction is not enabled for a user, they can create new products normally from the Sales Order line

Normal users will see the Create and Create & Edit options when selecting products in the Manufacturing Order.
