• Restrict product creation directly from Purchase Orders and RFQs

⚙ How It Works

• Install the Restrict Product Creation In Purchase module.
• Navigate to Settings → Users.
• Enable the Restrict Product Creation In Purchase access right for the desired users.
• Login with a user who has this restriction enabled.
• Open Purchase → Requests for Quotation or Purchase → Orders.
• In the purchase order line product dropdown, the Create and Create & Edit options will be hidden for restricted users.

📷 Enable Restriction for User

Navigate to Settings → Users & Companies → Users and enable the Restrict Product Creation In Purchase access right for the user.

📷 Restricted User Request for Quotation

When the restricted user creates a Request for Quotation (RFQ), the product dropdown will not display the Create or Create & Edit options.

The same restriction applies in the Purchase Order. The user can only select existing products from the list.

If the restriction is not enabled for a user, they can create new products normally from the purchase order line.

Normal users will see the Create and Create & Edit options when selecting products in RFQs.
